2nd Traditional Crafts workshop

With the support of @secelmt through the VIVER CULTURA - IDENTIDADES - EDIÇÃO LEI PAULO GUSTAVO public notice, we held the 2nd workshop alongside indigenous women from the northern region of Mato Grosso.

The pieces created carry stories, memories and the essence of their creators. Through the handmade dolls, we expressed culture, identity and tradition, reinforcing the value and beauty of indigenous ancestry. Each craft was carefully sewn by hand, preserving traditional techniques and highlighting the talent and dedication of each artisan.

The workshop also looked at graphics aligned with the cosmological universe of indigenous peoples, revealing symbols, shapes and patterns that connect the past, present and future. Through art and dialog with the traditional materials of each people, the handicrafts produced bring together the traditional and the contemporary, amplifying the importance of transmitting and valuing indigenous culture.
