During the second week of February, more than 20 women from the Mebengokrê, Munduruku and Apiaká communities took part in a painting workshop. This event was a celebration of cultural heritage and a powerful boost for the empowerment of indigenous women.

👩‍👧 The children who accompanied their mothers had the opportunity to take part in recreational activities, including games and paintings inspired by the rich culture of their peoples. It was a moment of unity, learning and joy for everyone.

🌿 This workshop is part of the project Expografismo: (Re) Conhecendo Nossa Cultura, supported by the Public Notice VIVER CULTURA - IDENTIDADES - EDIÇÃO LEI PAULO GUSTAVO and represents an important milestone in the cultural strengthening and valorisation of indigenous traditions in the northern region of Mato Grosso. Through art, we rescue and preserve our cultural identity, promoting respect and admiration for our roots.
