AGROFOREST

The Agrofloresta project aims to rescue, enrich and implement sustainable food production practices, aiming to ensure the continuous availability of food resources for indigenous communities.

Through technical guidance combined with ancestral knowledge, we promote the enrichment of orchards, backyards and traditional cultivation areas, incorporating valuable native species for food, production of natural medicines, obtaining versatile raw materials, encouraging hunting and creating habitats for animals.

Using traditional soil management and cultivation techniques, we implement dense plantations that form naturally through piles of compost and layers of decomposing leaves, avoiding the need to use fire.

United in this effort, we are committed to ensuring that indigenous communities have continued access to healthy, ecologically sustainable food produced with full respect for local traditions.
